An occasion for celebration, a moment of prayer, a night of vigil

Come relive and celebrate with us the memory of the wonderful encounter between the Crucified Christ and Saint Francis: ascend with us to the Sacred Mount of La Verna and allow yourself to be encountered by the Love of the Lord.

Practical Information

We will gather on the afternoon of September 16 together with all the pilgrims ascending to La Verna for the traditional Vigil of the Stigmata. We will begin with Vespers at 7:00 PM at the Parish Church of Chiusi della Verna.

At 8:30 PM, following a packed dinner, we will set out on our journey toward the Mountain. We will then ascend on foot to the Sanctuary of La Verna, where we will celebrate Holy Mass together with the Minister General of the Friars Minor, Br. Massimo Fusarelli.

At the conclusion of the Mass, the Sanctuary will remain open throughout the night for personal prayer and confessions. There will be opportunities to experience both personal and organized moments of prayer.

We will listen to stories, words, and new perspectives to enjoy together the beauty of the Cross.
