Guided tours

The Sanctuary offers hospitality for those who ascend Mount La Verna.

The La Verna Sanctuary welcomes pilgrims and visitors who choose to reach the mountain. Admission to the Sanctuary and the Chapel of the Stigmata is completely free, and the entire complex can be visited at your own pace.

Guided tours are available for groups of at least 15–20 people, including a historical-artistic explanation of the Sanctuary and an in-depth look at the spiritual experience of Saint Francis at La Verna. The visit lasts approximately 45–60 minutes.

It is also possible to request one or more meetings with a friar or a nun from the Sanctuary, choosing a theme to explore based on the group’s needs.

For those who wish to stop for a meal, there is a large picnic area outside for packed lunches.
